Margareta Hennix

Margareta Hennix is educated at Nyckelviksskolan and at the Swedish University of Arts, Crafts and Design. During her long career as a designer, she has explored many differents areas and materials, such as porcelain, glass and public decorations. With her colorful and humorous expression, she has been a leading player in Swedish design. Margareta Hennix began her collaboration with Reijmyre Glasbruk in 1993. Her design is appreciated by a wide audience, and she has received many awards, including the Swedish Form award for the glass series "Basic". She is represented at several museums, including the Swedish National Museum.
