Marie Åkerlund

Marie Åkerlund, visual artist and designer from Lotorp in Östergötland, has for some time had a close collaboration with Reijmyre Glasbruk. The forest is a great source of inspiration in Marie's creation, where the glass was also designed based on nature. Since 2016, she has designed glass for Reijmyre Glasbruk, the vase "Skog". Marie, who is an elected member of the prestigious Mondial Art Academia in France, has received several international art awards and exhibits her art in the United States and Europe. She is also permanently represented at the European Art Museum in Denmark.
